August 5th saw the launch of the new adidas Skateboarding collection at the No6 store on Newburgh Street in London.
To celebrate all where invited to come have a drink and and a chat to check out the new collection. Inside the store a new more spacious shop-fit hosted Brian Gaberman’s photography and the complete new range of Skateboarding footwear.
All of the London skateboard scene where present along with some of the UK adidas riders. Even Benny Fairfax flew into London to celebrate the skate range coming to No6.
Following on from victory in the first semi-final over Metalheadz, Andreas Muehe have gone on to win adiCup 2010 with a hard fought 3-1 victory over C.A Real Tokyo, who won their semi against the Diner Old Boys from New York, 7-1.
The win earns Andreas Muehe a trip to the World Cup Final in Johannesburg on July 11th.
Congratulations to all the participants and those who came down to adidas HQ to enjoy the football.

Nach dem überraschenden 1:1 Italiens gegen Neuseeland fragt man sich, wie es eigentlich um den berühmt-berüchtigten Ergebnisfußball der Squadra Azzurra steht, falls nicht ein Unentschieden das neue Wunschergebnis der Italiener sein sollte. Augenscheinlich ist auch der veränderte und auf den ersten Blick nach unten regulierte Schönheitsfaktor der italienischen Kicker: Alessandro Nesta, Paolo Maldini und Luca Toni sucht man vergebens in diesen Tagen beim WM-Turnier.
Doch Italien wäre nicht Italien, wenn es nicht noch ein Ass im Ärmel hätte: Daniele de Rossi. Das römische Mittelfeldraubein fährt einen neuen Style, ernst, blond und bärtig. Denn äußerlich erinnert er zum einen an den gewaltbereiten Fan aus der Kurve des Stadio Olimpico in Rom, zum anderen an einen norwegischen Fischer, also Tran statt Olivenöl, Stockfisch statt Pasta und Pizza – so wie man sich einen norwegischen Fischer eben vorstellt. Ein Typ, mit dem man gern mal eine Prince Denmark rauchen würde, um dabei über tiefgreifende aber auch ganz einfache Sachen zu sprechen, wobei er meistens nur weise nickt. Einer, dem man es nicht übel nimmt, wenn er die Frau oder den Boyfriend des anderen flachlegt. Und einer, dem man bei einer WM natürlich alles Gute und den Titel wünschen würde.
